A BIT OF HISTORY The Ogden Baptist Church was founded in the early 1800's by a group of Ogden town residents. For over 180 years, we have had a continual presence in this lovely farming community. Over the years, as Spencerport has become part of the growing suburban Rochester landscape, the town has gradually moved away from large family farms. Our church building is located near the historic Colby Farm, and across from one corner of lovely Northampton Park. We have seen amazing growth and development, but we have retained a great deal of the old-time culture and charm. A number of local families have been a part of the Ogden Baptist Church family for generations, providing a rich historical perspective on the local community.  Our church really is a family, a part of the Body of Christ. We welcome all newcomers and visitors and pray that you would feel at home in our family of faith as we seek to build friendships and serve the Lord in this special place. We praise God for His continued faithfulness across these many generations, and we prayerfully anticipate the wonderful future God has in store for this local expression of the church of Christ!
